This is a four page risk assessment for a tractor mounted slitter. The slitter is mounted to the tractor and is used to aerate and irrigate soil and grassed areas. This assessment identifies the hazards, risks and necessary controls.
The risks from using this equipment include entanglement, crushing, nipping, severing. cutting or puncturing and various symptoms involving exposure to excessive vibration for period of time. Hazards include, three-point linkage, noise and much more.
